‘GANESH UTSAB’ KICK STARTS IN SILIGURI THIS YEAR

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 13th September, 2015: It may be a highly acclaimed festival in Maharashtra and other parts of India. However, for the last half a decade it’s catching up in our very own Siliguri. With Ganesh Puja organizing committee is busy in garnering funds and festive requirements, there are new puja committees coming up every year. One such committee is this year’s Ashrampara Shree Shree Ganesh Puja Committee, which is organizing their first ever Ganesh Pujas at Rajib More of Ashrampara, Siliguri with great enthusiasm.
Though the main puja is on 17th September but the inauguration is already done today at around 06:30 pm by Smt. Bharati Ghosh noted Table Tennis coach, Ms. Soma Kundu, the deaf and dumb TT player and also the President Award winner and Mr. Chitta Roy Pradhan, a handicapped security guard. Committee sources also informed that on 19th September the organizers with honor some note personnel of Siliguri for their contributions like former Players, Reporters, Police personnel. Apart from this clothes will also be distributed to the students of Bhimbhar Blind School of Bidhan Nagar, Siliguri.
